What is Psychotherapy?
Psychotherapy is the use of psychological methods, particularly when based on regular personal interaction, to help a person change and overcome problems in desired ways. Psychotherapy aims to improve an individual’s well-being and mental health, to resolve or mitigate troublesome behaviors, beliefs, compulsions, thoughts, or emotions, and to improve relationships and social skills.
The difference between coaching and psychotherapy are not the methods but the mental state of the person. Does a person suffer from an emotional or behavioral disorder it is called psychotherapy.
Andrea Hofmann works in psychotherapy with the following methods: Systemic Constellations / Family Constellations, EMDR, Inner Child, Psycho-Kinesiology, Kinesiology and more.
Psychotherapy with Andrea Hofmann as a Heilpraktikerin for Psychotherapy (Alternative Practitioner for Psychotherapy) is very often paid by private health insurances depending on your indivdual contract. It is recommended to ask the insurance directly in advance to make sure they take the cost of the treatment.
The regular health insurances in germany do not pay for psychotherapy with Heilpraktiker at the moment.
You can pay for the sessions yourself for a reasonable price.
