EMDR is at present the most effective method known to treat trauma. It can be used in psychotherapy as well as in coaching. Because of its very well developed structure it solves trauma and problems very effectively – fast as well as long lasting.
EMDR was discovered by Francine Shapiro in the U.S. for the treatment of traumatised people. It was successfully tested on Vietnam veterans where other conventional treatments like psychotherapy failed.
With the very effective meaning fast and stable therapy success EMDR is already established in the U.S. and in Europe as one of the most potent methods to treat traumatised people.
EMDR is now acknowledged as a fast, effective and long lasting therapy. Widely used in the U.S. and Europe as a potent method of treating traumatized people.
The way the method works is simply by moving the eyes in a certain direction at a certain speed for a certain time. This enables to dissolve mental blocks which were caused by the trauma step by step until they are completely vanished.
Also in EMDR I work with the kinesiological test so I can find individually which movement is right for the client at the time.
In Psychoneurobiology EMDR is also combined with coloured glasses to intensify the healing effect.
